Violation of this policy will result in immediate account termination and potential referral to law enforcement.

4. User Conduct and Responsibilities

Users agree to:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Respect other users' intellectual property and privacy
• Not engage in harassment, abuse, or discriminatory behavior

• Report suspected illegal activity to our support team immediately

5. Image Requirements and Content Moderation

All listings require images that accurately represent the items being offered. Images must:

• Be original photographs of the actual item (not stock images or screenshots)
• Show the item clearly and in good lighting
• Not contain watermarks, logos, or misleading content
• Not violate any third-party rights

All listings are subject to automated and manual review before publication. BuilderSwap Fife reserves the right to remove listings that violate these terms or are deemed unsuitable.

6. Limitation of Liability

BuilderSwap Fife is provided on an "as-is" basis. We make no warranties regarding the platform or services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuilderSwap Fife shall not be liable for:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits or revenue
• Disputes between users
• Quality or legality of items listed by other users
• Unauthorized access to user data

Users assume full responsibility for their transactions and interactions with other users.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

Your personal data is collected and processed according to our Privacy Policy and UK data protection laws (GDPR). We collect:

• Email address for account access and verification
• Phone number for identity verification and contact purposes
• Full name and address for user verification and dispute resolution
• Listing history and transaction records

8. Moderation and Account Suspension

BuilderSwap Fife reserves the right to:

• Permanently ban users who engage in illegal activity

Users will be notified of account actions via email, and repeat offenders will lose platform access.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on BuilderSwap Fife, including logos, trademarks, and design, is the property of BuilderSwap Fife or its licensors. Users retain ownership of content they create but grant BuilderSwap Fife a license to use it for platform operations and moderation.

10. Changes to Terms

BuilderSwap Fife reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the UK.
